I run B2B sales for a Calgary-based windows manufacturer where the daily reality is: prospects ghost on quotes, follow-up cadence is the difference between $0 and $30k commission, and "AI tools that promise to fix your pipeline" arrive in my inbox every week.

I built AI Toolery Lab because the existing AI-tool-review landscape is broken: most "Top 10" listicles are paid placements wearing a thin disguise, and "we tested it" usually means "the vendor sent us marketing copy."

How I evaluate tools here

• Public-data triangulation — I cross-reference G2, Capterra, vendor docs, founder interviews, and known production deployments before forming an opinion.
• Hands-on where I have access — I've operated Salesforce, Apollo, Clay, Smartlead, ChatGPT/Claude/Cursor, and a stack of automation tools daily for years. Where I have direct experience, I label it clearly.
• Anti-recommendations are public — every comparison includes a "skip if" section. If I wouldn't pay for it, I say why.
